Solichul Huda, a lecturer of Technical Information study program, Faculty of Computer Science Udinus, developed a method of Fraud detection in banking credit application process. He graduated with very satisfactory result or cum laude in the Doctoral Program of Computer Science in Institute of Technology Surabaya (ITS). Huda also became the first graduate with an A grade with 3-year study period. His dissertation entitled “Deteksi Process-Based Fraud Dalam Aplikasi Kredit”
He explained that the difficulty in detecting Fraud or PBF is the identification of indicators or attributes of Fraud. "To overcome the dissent between Fraud experts, this dissertation developed the Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (MADM) method to detect the PBF,” said Huda. The three examiners are Prof.Dr. Ir. Marsudi Revelation Kisworo, Prof. Ir. Handayani Tjandrasa, M.Sc., and Dr. P.hD Ir. RV Today Ginardi, M.Sc,. He conveyed several methods that use for identification process, namely method of analysis, method of resource, throughput time analysis, duty analysis, pattern analysis, decision analysis and parallel event analysis. "After we found the identified indicators, we search the significant one with correlation test. The significant indicator called PBF attributes, "he said.
The Rector of Udinus, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, MKom said that he was proud because he has a new doctorate with superior qualifications. "I am proud, I hope he can participates to educate the generation with the good quality output," he said. (* PR)
