Saturday, March 18th 2017, the Udinus Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Humanities held a Cross Cultural Party successfully. There are hundred visitors joined this party. The culture atmosphere of the four countries was blended at the yard of Building G 1st floor Dian University Nuswantoro (Udinus).
Cross Cultural Party was a cultural festival that combines culture of the four countries, namely Indonesia, Japan, the UK and Korea. This event was evidence that Faculty of Humanities is appreciating culture. From each country, they were presented musical poetry in English, Reog Ponorogo, Gamelan, Semarang’s dance, Yosakoi and Taiko dance from Japan, and K-Pop dance presented by WTF Bandung. "The students from Korea and Vietnam who are studying in Udinus also participate in the event" said Nooraida Mitra as a committee of Cross Culture Party. There are many unique food stands from those countries in this event.
The Faculty of Humanities has two study programs, Japanese and English. Cross Cultural Party showed that the culture of each country is not the same. Even so, students are required not to forget that Indonesian culture is the birthplace.
Cross Cultural Party is also held some competitions such as dance, singing, band and eating competition. Sereal band’s performance from Udinus Kaplink Theater closed this event. (* PR)
