BPKLN APPRECIATE THE BU STUDENTS IN UDINUS
To create excellent generation with great people, it requires good education from early stage and supervision from the various parties. The University of Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) has done the same thing in fostering the student.
"We've became the provider of Superior Scholarship (BU) since 2007, and 531 students received the scholarship by the Bureau of Planning and International Cooperation (BPKLN) Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia. Both of S1 and S2 degree, "said Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.M. as the 3rd Vice Rector for Udinus Student Affairs while receiving the Monitoring and Evaluation Scholarship Program in the Hall of Building E, 3rd floor, Udinus on March, 24th 2017.
The Rector of Udinus, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M. Kom, the lecturers, and hundreds of BU students attended this event. Not only it exhibited the masterpieces of BU students, but also it is to get a briefing from Cyti Daniela Aruan, a Scholarship Coordinator of BPKLN Kemdikbud RI. "The students’ recruitment was not only consider the background of socioeconomic, but also we consider which field and which level they are belong to, it is local, national, and international levels. It will determine when they will conduct further studies to the next level, "said Daniela.
The study programs that receiving the BU were S1 and S2 degree of Technical Information, Information Systems, Visual Communication Design, Communication Science, Management, Accounting, English Literature, Public Health, Electrical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering. There are some excellent students from those study programs won in various championships, such as Batik Design in National Level, Animation in National Level, Skill Competition in ASEAN Level, and they are who qualify the PIMNAS. "We do appreciate the BU students in Udinus. We hope that through this scholarship, the Indonesia’s students could take the positive benefit," she added.
The students BU in Udinus are not only encouraged in academic, but also in the field they pursue. "Scholarship, for the recipient, can be educated properly. To Udinus, the BU students who excel in various levels of the championship can glory the alma mater. And for the wider community, they can feel the development of creativity and innovation that are beneficial," said Edi Noersasongko. (* PR)
