THE COOPERATION BETWEEN UDINUS FEB AND LSP BRILLIANT
Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) requires alumni of S1 (Bachelor) should have a Certificate of Expertise or Competence Companion besides the S1’s diploma. The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) has established cooperation with the Professional Certification Institute of Human Resource Management (LSP MSDM) Brilliant to review of the competence of academicians. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is done on Friday, April 7th 2017 in the Citra Grand Amsterdam Office Blok B No. 2 Sambiroto, Semarang.
Prof. Vincent Didiek Wiet Aryanto MBA, Ph.D, the Dean of Faculty of Economic and Business Udinus explained that the recruitment in industry requires more than diploma. A company prioritizes the employees that have expertise beside their diploma and it should certify by Profession Certification National Board (BNNSP). Brilliant LSP is the one of certified LSP by BNSP Central Java. The LSP chose Udinus as Competency Test Place (TUK) for individuals or institutions that want to get Certificate of Competence. "Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.M., the Vice Rector III for Student Affairs Udinus and Dr. Agus Prayitno, M.M. the Head of Quality Assurance Office are assessors in the LSP Brilliant since 2016, " said Vincent.
Vincent said that the purpose of this cooperation is to make Indonesia competent in the MSDM, especially students and alumni of Udinus. "There are many foreign workers entered Indonesia currently, so Indonesian workers must also be ready to compete," he concluded. (* PR)
