UDINUS COOPERATES WITH MITSUBISHI FOR STUDENTS
The intense competition after graduated is not only regionally or nationally, but also internationally. The opening of the MEA requires graduates to understand the desires of the industrial world, not only be master theory but also to be able to practice it in the real work.
The signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus) and PT. Millenium Energy proved that Udinus is serious in facing the MEA. Udinus Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom, the Director of PT. Setsuyo Astec, Yoshizuka Yasuki, and the Director of PT. Millenium Energy, Firman Istiawan, represent the signing of MoU, which was held on May 4th 2017 in the meeting room of Building G.
PT. Setsuya Astec is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi, which has been established since 45 years ago, and specialized in the factory automation (automasi pabrik) while PT. Millenium Energy is the official distributor of Mitsubishi. The scope of the MoU covered education, research, and community service. This cooperation was an umbrella of the agreement, and for the realization, it will be followed up to the related study program.
"In this cooperation, we want to support education by giving contribution to the students in the field of automation. So Udinus students can directly practice their skills in the world of work when they graduated, "said Firman Istiawan.
Udinus will be built a laboratory that can be used students to practice. And PT. Millenium Energy will support the equipment in the laboratory. "We welcome the cooperation with Mitsubishi, because it is very useful for students, the world of education, as well as for the world of work.
