UDINUS’ KESLING STRENGTHEN THE COMPETENCY OF AMDAL A
To provide the best education for the country, and continue to fulfill the market demands, Faculty of Health (Fkes) Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus) opened a new study program namely Environmental Health (Kesling) Study Program (Prodi). In accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education No. 41 / KTP / I / 2015 dated September 15, 2015.
As part of Udinus, Kesling continues to improve its quality. The vision of the Prodi is being the main choice study program that able to generate professional graduates with entrepreneurial spirit and able to apply information technology in environmental health at the national level in 2020.
For the sake of achieving the vision, Kesling held a Training / Course on Basics of Environmental Impact Analysis (AMDAL A) in cooperation with the Professional Organization of Indonesian Environmental Studies Institute and the Environmental Research Center of Sebelas Maret University. 27 participants from Environmental Consultant, Ministry of Transportation, Directorate General of Railway of Central Railway Engineering-North Sumatra and academic from various universities such as Unika and Unwahas Semarang was participated The AMDAL A training.
"With participated in the training, it is expected that Kesling’ graduates have been certified AMDAL A and become the leading competence in the Environmental Analysis & Environmental Audit to face MEA," said Dr. Drs. Slamet Isworo, M. Kes as the Head of Kesling Study Program. The training will be held every year and held by Udinus’ Environmental Health Study Program. (* PR)
