Freshmen at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) Semarang learned an important insight concerning an opportunity to study in Germany through a public lecture by Goethe-Institut Indonesia. Not only does this lecture introduce students to the education system in Germany but it also bridges students with Goethe-Institut as the official agency providing the German language proficiency certification.

Klara Neema Weidemann, the Project Koordination Fachkräftegewinnung I Project Coordination, Skilled Workers Migration from Goethe-Institut Indonesia, explained in-depth information about cultures and lifestyles in Germany.

“We want students to fully understand the opportunities to study in Germany, as well as the importance of learning languages for their studies there,” Klara uttered.

In addition to this opportunity, Klara introduced Goethe-Institut as an internationally recognized agency in German Language Education.

“We provide the German Language Proficiency certification, which has been internationally recognized. This can be a perfect opportunity for students who will work or study in German,” he added.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., the Chancellor of Udinus, revealed that the partnership between Udinus and Goethe-Institut had been running well. The chancellor stated that the collaboration opened a new opportunity for students to the international world.

We shall appreciate the presence of Goethe-Institut for allowing students to get closer to the German education system and culture. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students who yearn for international studies,” the chancellor revealed.

The freshmen were also allowed to directly interact with the team from Goethe-Institut through a Q&A session. On that occasion, several questions concerning the study requirements, life in Germany, and German Language Proficiency certification were answered in great detail.
