Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (UDINUS) continue to increase the number of young entrepreneurs in Indonesia by holding ‘Creanovative Entrepreneur’ which was followed by dozens of students\u2019 innovation. <\/p>\n
The event was held for two days from May 7th-8th, 2018 and became a platform for students to show their ability to open their own business. Students\u2019 innovation was exhibited at the yard of D Building UDINUS and there were also various food and technology products. There were about 38 stands that consisted of 29 stands of entrepreneurship and 8 stands of startup business.<\/p>\n
The Head of UPT Entrepreneurship UDINUS, Imam Nuryanto, S.E, MM said that the Creanovative Entrepreneur event was an output of entrepreneurship and start-up business course. He said that there were three assessment points that became the main focus on this event such as quality, service and price. “The three basic elements must be owned by students when they perform entrepreneurship because the three elements are closely related. For example if the product has cheap price and good quality, but it has a bad service, then it will also give impact on the sale. The three elements must be in an equal portions, “he said on the event.<\/p>\n
Imam Nuryanto also mentioned that UDINUS facilitated the students to keep their business through an incubator owned by UDINUS itself. The incubator could help students to develop and sell their products. “Through the incubator, students\u2019 business can last longer, “he said.<\/p>\n
Imam added that in addition to educate students create their own business, UDINUS continue to encourage new entrepreneurs to have a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and Small Micro Business License (IUMK). “Those two things are the most important thing of business because by having NPWP and IUMK the business of the student can be recognized by the state. If you open a business but do not have a NPWP or IUMK then it is the same like you just open an illegal business, “he said.<\/p>\n
