Currently, Viona, a student of the Applied Hotel Management Study Program at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) and a model, has been engaging in the culinary business ever since the COVID-19 pandemic came into existence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tHer cooking interest led Viona to establish a culinary business. Testing cooking recipes prior to marketing them has become an everyday activity for her.  \u201cThis business was established in June 2020. My interest in cooking motivated me to sell various kinds of foods and beverages including cakes and daily snacks. Additionally, customers could also request foods for ceremonial purposes such as brownies, banana cakes, desserts, and many more,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tDespite being a new business owner, Viona is passionate about marketing her products on her Instagram account named @cakesbae. She did several things to initiate her business; two of those things were promoting the business by arranging the feeds nicely with well-designed food displays and actively sharing her products on Instagram Stories. Furthermore, she is also normally aware of the kitchen\u2019s cleanliness. She admitted that cleaning and keeping the products and ingredients properly were important. \u201cI will personally always keep my products sanitated to make them safe to consume and maintain their quality,\u201d Viona explained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tAccording to Viona, the Department of Hotel Management at Udinus helped her to establish her business. She was taught basic knowledge on how to make a cake, how to brand a product, how to market a product, and how to maintain personal hygiene and product sanitation. On top of that, her supportive lecturers fired her up to pursue her business.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tIn addition to her modeling career and business, Viona also utilizes her job as an Event Organizer as her source of income. Her modeling and event organizing careers serve as platforms to gather insight aligning with her field of expertise. \u201cCoincidentally, my job orients with my major on campus.
