To fulfill one of the philosophies, The Humanities Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) gave a strategy to faculty members within the faculty through a workshop featuring a professor in the field of language.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">The workshop was themed \u2018The Prospects and Challenges Concerning Associate Professors and Professors through National and International Research Publications.\u2019 It was attended by approximately 40 participants consisting of the Humanities Faculty members from three different departments. As for the time and place, the workshop took place on the third floor of the G building, on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">At the workshop, Prof. Amirul Mukminin, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ed., Ph.D., a professor from the Education Faculty at Universitas Jambi, was featured to discuss prospects and challenges regarding the process of becoming an associate lecturer and professor. One of the main requirements for attaining those titles is by publishing an international research paper. Furthermore, he explained that the research paper had to align with the professor title the researcher aimed to attain.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">\u201cThe paper will later be published on Google Scholar, and will also serve as an important point to attain the associate professor title. In addition, several aspects encompassing accomplishments, research, and published articles can also serve as a point of assessment,\u201d he explained.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Meanwhile, two faculty members from Universitas Jambi, Marzul Hidayat, and Fortunasari, were also present and discussed steps to identify reputed journals. With Dr. Dra. Sri Mulatsih, M.Pd., the Vice Dean of the Humanities Faculty, as the moderator, the event ran with enthusiasm as many participants were seen asking questions.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">During his greetings, Dr. Raden Arief Nugroho, S.S., M.Hum., the Dean of the Humanities Faculty, hoped for this workshop to motivate faculty members within the faculty to aim for the professor title by improving the quality of their research and international publications.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">\u201cWe featured Prof. Amirul as one of the Credit Number Assessment teams from the Ministry of Research.
