Attending offline lectures is an everyday task done by ordinary students, however, it is very different for students who also work as professional athletes. Currently, three students of Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, who are also players of Indonesian National Football Team U-22, finally get the opportunity to attend offline lectures.<\/p>\n
Upon coming back from competing at the SEA Games in Cambodia several times prior, these three football athletes, namely Irfan Jauhari, Ernando Ari, and Ilham Rio Fahmi attended offline classes on the fifth floor of the I building with several other athletes from the same campus, including Siti Aminah and Hafidh Nuur, both of which being table tennis athletes.<\/p>\n
The opportunity to attend offline lectures was special for those athletes as all these times, all they could do was participate in online classes. All students who were also athletes were seen wearing the campus alma mater jackets and listening to the lecture conveyed by the Economics and Business Faculty lecturers.<\/p>\n
Those three football athletes are students of the Department of Management, and today, they received scholarships for their master\u2019s studies and gadgets, as well as financial support as a form of appreciation. Moreover, they also attended various classes, including public lectures and regular lectures in classrooms.<\/p>\n
During his interview, Irfan Jauhari expressed his utmost pleasure in being able to attend offline lectures. Additionally, he also promised to attend more classes with his fellow students if he had the chance to do so.<\/p>\n
\u201cHopefully, I could keep pursuing my studies all the way until I get the master\u2019s degree. If I were to have time within my grasp, I would regularly attend lectures like other students would. Not only that, but it is also an opportunity for me to hang out with my classmates,\u201d Jauhari uttered.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Jauhari\u2019s classmate who is also a basketball athlete, Meidina Riska Maulida, revealed that she was happy to see Jauhari once again. She revealed that she had known Jauhari since high school, and she added that Jauhari was a quiet individual, but an easy-going one.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt has been a while since I met Irfan Jauhari; he was my senior back in high school. He is a fun one to talk with. Also, I forgot to mention that I knew Irfan as in high school, we athletes often assembled,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
On a different occasion, six athletes on campus who collected medals at the 32nd Sea Games in Cambodia were granted bonuses, including scholarships and various facilities to sustain their academic needs. (Humas Udinus\/Alex. Foto: Humas Udinus)<\/p>\n
