On this occasion, the Curriculum and Learning Development Institution (LPPK) at Udinus organized an Outcome-based Education Curriculum Workshop (OBE) on the fifth floor of the I building.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">The Internal Workshop was attended by 22 lecturers from the Economics and Business Faculty (FEB) at Udinus. The materials were explained by, Dr. Pujiono, S.Si., M.Kom., the Head of LPPK. He explained the OBE Curriculum Approach which could be implemented in the Faculty of Economics and Business. It was an approach to an education system focused on achieving results, which was also known as the Program Learning Outcome (PLO).&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">\u201cPLO\u2019s focus must align with the visions, missions, and goals of every faculty and study program or major. Additionally, it could also be utilized as a reference in undertaking a study containing, knowledge, skills, and attitudes,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">In addition to that, the studying process would not only revolve around the materials but also the outcome expectancy according to the respective faculty\u2019s PLO.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">\u201cIn other words, this curriculum will be centralized on the innovative learning process, effective, and interactive. What the lecturers promised to their students will be implemented in the industrial sector,\u201d Pujiono added.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">The workshop was followed by a discussion session instructed by Dr. Herry Subagyo, M.M., the Head of the Curriculum Sector of LPPK at Udinus. On that occasion, the participants were guided to complete essential curriculum documents for implementing the OBE Program.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Herry, the Head Organizer, also stated that the curriculum was crucial for the study programs to undertake the International Accreditation, due to the fact that the curriculum would serve as a reference for students to be accepted in the industrial sector.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">\u201cWe are hoping that the OBE could be implemented in several courses, according to the demands of each study program. This workshop aims to equip the lecturers with a clear understanding of OBE, thus they could implement it during the lecturing session,\u201d he concluded.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udinus, Prof. Vincent Didiek Wiet Aryanto, Mba., Ph.D. also attended the workshop, alongside The Vice Dean, Dr. Retno Indah Hernawati, S.E., M.Si., and the Head of Study Programs with a total of 22 participants including other lecturers.
