To enhance the growth of Loram Wetan Village, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) Semarang shared its knowledge about six major points of literacy. The activity was part of the event by the Coaching Student Organization Program (PPKO) of the Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Computer Science Faculty (FIK) at Udinus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The six points of literacy consist of environment literacy, graphic literacy, marketing & financial literacy, information literacy, leadership, and health literacy. The student members of DPM FIK provided training on using Canva to both students and adults in the village. The participants were not only introduced to the theoretical aspects, but they also had the opportunity to create their own designs related to Indonesian Independence Day. The training activity was directly inaugurated by Eko Apri Kusdianto, the chief of Loram Wetan Village. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gading Candra Pranolo, the head organizer of the PPKO from DPM FIK, elaborated on the event's objective: the realization of a smart village in Loram Wetan, Jati Sub-District, Kudus Regency. One approach to achieving this goal was by enhancing the community's skills through six key aspects of literacy, referred to as 'Enam Pojok Literasi' or abbreviated as Elit. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThrough that event, we are trying to improve the prosperity as well as enhancing the community\u2019s economical productivity at Loram Wetan Village,\u201d stated Gading during an interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He revealed that the DPM FIK team pursued the six literary points due to the significant potential of Loram Wetan, which, unfortunately, had not been properly maintained. Throughout the PPKO activity, the Student Representative Council involved a total of 15 students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cApart from involving students, we are also getting direction from Filmada Ocky Saputra M.Eng., the lecturer of the faculty of Computer Science at Udinus. It\u2019s been more than two months since we started, and upcoming training will be in line with the goals we've set,\u201d said Gading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gustina Alfa T, M.Kom., the Coordinator of Student Affairs of the Faculty of Computer Science at Udinus, hoped that the programs that had been arranged by the team could run smoothly and enhance the community\u2019s literacy. Gustina expected students to make the program a platform to hone their soft skills for society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe prospect of the programs is to widely affect the Loram Wetan Village,\u201d stated Gustina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the Coaching Student Organization Program (PPKO) itself is a program initiated by the student organization and organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek). The Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Computer Science Faculty (FIK) became one of the student organizations at Udinus that participated in the program and got 39,5-million-rupiah funding from the government.
