As the brand-new faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), the Medicine Faculty planned to introduce the new students to various facilities and infrastructure within the department, through an event known as the 2023 Medicine Faculty Dinus Inside. The event was participated by all students of the first cohort from September 29 to 30, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event which marked the beginning of the 2023\/2024 academic year featured a series of activities consisting of the inauguration and the introduction to the dean and other faculty members, as well as a public lecture session with Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom, the Chancellor, as the main speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chancellor welcomed all 29 new students in the Medicine Faculty. Those students had undergone a series of tests during the admission process. The Chancellor expected those students to be able to graduate on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHopefully, the new students could benefit the public by using their knowledge by the time they graduate from this campus, as being a doctor is a difficult quest they must undertake someday. We have prepared various facilities and infrastructures for practical works,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dean of the Medicine Faculty, Dr. dr. Hendriani Selina, SpA(K)., explained that at this event, there would be a lot to discuss including the introduction to the curriculum, academic calendar, and education system for both study programs namely the Medicine Department and the Medical Professional Department. The freshmen will also be enlightened on the tutorial mechanism and the micro app\u2019s introduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe also planned to feature several Technical Implementation Units to explain in detail several micro apps on campus including Kulino and Siadin. In addition to that, we will also give instruction regarding campus organizations,\u201d the dean explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On that occasion, dr. M. Khusnan Marzuki, M.M., a doctor at Prof. Awaloedin Djamin Bhayangkara Hospital Semarang, shared his experience in the medical field. According to him, Udinus was the correct institution for a technological revolution in the medical field, and the students were also expected to cooperate in order to realize it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second day of the event will be closed with an art performance in the form of \u2018Medicine Faculty Got Talent.\u2019 At the segment, the new students will be pushed to give their best performance to claim victory and the \u2018Best New Student of Medicine Faculty\u2019 title. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe second event will later be filled with light-hearted activities to create a pleasant campus atmosphere with no thrill surrounding it. Hopefully, this \u2018Medicine Faculty Got Talent\u2019 segment could encourage them to be more competitive on campus,\u201d the dean concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The student\u2019s parents will also be highlighted regarding various academic matters consisting of curriculum introduction and education system in both study programs in the Medicine Faculty, as well as financial procedure.
