Universitas Dian Nuswantoro<\/a> (Udinus) was entrusted to host the 2024 Technical Implementing Meeting of Previous Education Type A. The event was aimed at higher educational institutions that received support from the government to develop their education system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first floor of the H building at Udinus, the event was attended by more than 200 representatives from various universities in Indonesia. This technical meeting was officially opened by Dr. Kusni Ingsih, MM., (the Vice Chancellor III of Student Affairs) through her speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, Dewi Wulandari, S.Si., --the Coordinator of the Educational Sector at Belmawa Directorate of the Higher Education Directorate General sub-division of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology\u2014explained the concept of RPL in great detail. According to her, RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) is a report of learning outcomes from different paths, including formal, non-formal, and informal education. It also scopes work experience, which serves as a basis to continue one\u2019s studies or compare the qualifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dewi also emphasized that the technical meeting was a crucial step to give understanding and guidance to universities. These supposed universities had also received support from the government in hosting the RPL Type A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRPL Type A itself is done by reporting learning outcomes to continue one\u2019s formal education. This process is commonly done by reporting learning outputs from prior studies, non-formal education, or informal. Furthermore, it is also essential to report work experience upon graduating from high school,\u201d Dewi explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Udinus as The Host<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The technical meeting took place at Udinus. It was directly handled by the Development of Education and Curriculum Agency (LPPK). The technical meeting was held to showcase the commitment and forwardness of various universities in supporting the Previous Education Type A. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On that occasion, Dr. Kusni Ingsih, MM., also expressed her joy for the campus to be selected as the host of the meeting. Furthermore, she hoped for the representatives from various universities to be informed about the implementation of the Previous Education Type A. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
