The pledges were taken as a part of the keeping the professional ethics and the secrecy of medical records data of patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Professional Plead was done by 95 Medical Record and Information students who would conduct a field practice. The pleading was done to maintain the secrecy of patients\u2019 data during their careers in various hospitals in Indonesia. The pledges were taken at the Hall Harris Central Hotel in Semarang. It was witnessed by various parties involved, including the Indonesian Professional Medical Recorders and Information of Central Java.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During her opening speech, Enny Rachmani, SKM, M.Kom., Ph.D., the Dean of the Health Science Faculty at Udinus, emphasized the importance of this plead in keeping the patients\u2019 trust toward medical professionals. The graduates must commit to conducting field practices or pursue their careers in the industry, particularly in keeping the secrecy of patients\u2019 data. This is among many ethics that must be upheld by every medical record professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to ensuring their professional commitment, the plead also served as a way to ensure these graduates that they were ready to carry the burden of responsibilities as medical recorders. The plead would later serve as their provisions in facing the digital era as a medical professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe digitalization of health services pushes graduates of the Medical Records and Information Department at Udinus to keep learning digital technology,\u201d she emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Dr. dr. Zaenal Sugiyanto, M.Kes., the Head of the Medical Record and Information Department, explained that the professional plead was among many requirements for the graduates to get the Registration Letters (STR). This letter is an official permit for one to work in the sector of health service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Registration Letter will serve as proof that the graduates have understood the code of conduct and are prepared to carry the responsibility of their jobs,\u201d Zaenal explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Excelling in Technological Aspects<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Roni Rohman, A.Md., PK., S.ST. KES., the Head of the Indonesian Professional Medical Recorders and Information of Central Java, was present and gave words of motivation to these graduates. \u201cThe graduates of the Medical Record and Information at Udinus have excellent competence in terms of technology usage. Furthermore, they are also educated enough to implement the regulations issued by the Ministry of Health. We are sure that they will be able to supply the demands within the job market,\u201d Roni said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this plead, Udinus hoped for the graduates to maintain professional ethics and keep adapting to technological advancements. Thus, they will be able to provide the best possible health service to the public.
