STUDENTS ASSOCIATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH DIAN NUSWANTORO UNIVERSITY BECOME THE HOST FOR ISMKMI 2017
Being part of public health students in Indonesia, Students association of public health Dian Nuswantoro University became the host of national work meeting of Association of Student senate of public health Indonesia (ISMKMI) "2017.
This event was held on Friday, 21th of July at Dian Nuswantoro Univesity (UDINUS) in the 3rd floor of E building. The opening of this event was run very well attended by hundreds of students who represent 33 provinces in Indonesia. The event was opened by some welcoming speeches from Secretary General ISKMI Abdul Latif Musthofa and from The Dean of The Faculty of Public Health Dian Nuswantoro University Dr. Guruh Fajar Shidik, S.Kom., M.Cs.. The opening of National work meeting ISMKM 2017 was started by beating a gong.
In his welcoming speech Mr. Guruh concern about the urge of the improvement of the quality of medical workers. “The existence of hospital certification required by the government, will automatically require the improvement of medical workers quality. In addition, computerized data collection in hospitals also depends on the world of information technology. Because of that Udinus has prepared graduates of Public Health who are capable of using gadgets and ready to enter industrial world,” as the dean of The Faculty of Public Health said in his welcoming speech.
There was also national seminar with theme “The Role of Indonesian Public Health Workers in industrial world in MEA Era” in this event. The speaker for this seminar was dr Ridwan M. Thaha, M.Sc as the head of Indonesian public health graduates association (IAKMI), Sidin Hariyanto, SKM, M.Pd from the Agency for Development and Empowerment of Human Resources (PPSDM) Ministry of Health RI, and from the head of Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus) Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom
In his speech, the three speakers were talk about how medical workers should have standard and well professional services. Because if medical workers couldn’t work properly then it will impact to the country. “Hopefully medical workers could be Manager Innovatir Researcher Apprenticer Communitarian, leader, and educator (MIRACLE),” said Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom to the audience.
