In addition, research also has a major contribution in the process of accreditation of a study programs and also campus.
On Wednesday, 11th of October, 20017, Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Dian Nuswantoro University Library with Springer held a Workshop for young lecturer in the Library, on the 2nd floor of A building. The workshop was about tips to publish international journal. "This event is one of the plus point of Udinus' MOU with Springer on the 1st of September," Said Natalistyo TAH M.SI., Ak., CA, as The Head of Udinus Library UPT. Udinus become a subscriber to the Springer e-journal database, and Springer provides literacy and motivates young researchers to publish their international journals.
The workshop was filled by Melinda Lux, Springer representative from Hongkong and Handoko Bagaskara as Indonesian Springer license manager. Handoko said each journal database has its own characteristics. "Before the researchers decide where the journal will be published, firstly, they have to find the information about the publisher, whether there is a chance of their Journal field published or not," said Handoko to dozen of audiences in the room.
Before subscribing Springer’s journal, Udinus subscribed journal database from AMC Journals and Emerald Publishing. Natal explained that one of Udinus' lecturers successfully published his journals in Emerald, his name is Amron SE, MM. "The requirement to publish a journal in Emerald is very difficult. He have to revise his journal several times and gratefully, finally it can be published, "added Natalistyo. He hopes that Udinus young lecturer are motivated to conduct research and make scientific work after this event.
