To sustain the predicate of Free Drugs Campus, Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus) regularly conduct activities that support the Prevention, Eradication, Abuse and Distribution of Drugs (P4GN). One of them is by conducting urine tests for Udinus’ students and employees randomly.
On Tuesday, 24th of October, Udinus cooperated with the National Narcotics Board of the Province (BNNP) of Central Java held a random urine test. This activity conducted at two spots, the first spot was on the second floor of H building and on the first floor of A building. 150 samples were taken from Udinus’ students. "For detail screening results, it can be obtained in 7 days after taking the sample, but the short results can be obtained in 15 minutes after the sample was taken, "said Yustina Martin Catur Wijayanti as The Head of Community Empowerment Section BNNP Central Java.
Udinus shows the support for P4GN by regularly doing urine tests every semester randomly to students and employee, even the time for the urine test is also random. The urine test can be conducted in the morning, noon, afternoon, or even in the evening. The reason is to avoid the circulation of drugs in Udinus environment, especially in this blue campus, there are a lot of young generations who can become a drug dealer. "For students who are positively using drug, Udinus will give the worst penalty which is expelled from the campus," said Udinus Rector Dr Ir Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom while meeting the BNNP of Central Java in the Rectorate.
