DINUSFEST 2018 BECOMES THE PLATFORM TO STUDY MORE ABOUT JAPANESE CULTURE
Dinusfest 2018, held competitions for high school / vocational school students, some of the competitions was held by Japanese Literature Students Association (Hikari) on the second day, 24th of January. The competitions were Japanese story retelling, Intelligent Quiz, and Shoudo which took place in G building, Udinus.
The event opened with Soran dance, and after that the participants entering their room to compete. On the Intelligent Quiz competition, the assessment was started from the preliminary round, by answering questions about Japanese culture level N5 and N4 until the final round.
Calligraphy Japan or commonly called Shoudo became the challenge for the 17 participants from high school / vocational in Central Java because Shoudo is not popular in Indonesian society. Japanese calligraphy was assessed based on the accuracy, cleanliness, proportional letters, beauty, and the way of using brush.
Just like the competition from the Student Association of English department, Hikari Udinus also held a story retelling competition. The 10 participants of Japanese tory retelling presented the story in Japanese, which the text was already determined by the committee. The head of Japanese study program Udinus, Tri Mulyani Wahyuningsih, M.Hum became the judge in this competition. The fluency in speaking, the timing, and improvisation became the part of the assessment.
Dinusfest was held until Thursday 25th of January and it was closed by IT Competition, HIPMI PT Inauguration, Duta Udinus election, and also the ceremonial of Dinusfest 2018. (* PR / WartaDinus)
