FACULTY OF HEALTH UDINUS SUPPORTS GIS TRAINING
Increasing lecturers’ competence certainly can support the competence of the institution, which it is also will give positive impact to the competence of the graduates. Last January, lecturers of Public Health in Central Java and Yogyakarta conducted a Training on Application of Quantum Geographic Information System (GIS) in Mapping Hazard and Risk Position in Workplace.
For one day, 30 lecturers of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) from Central Java and Yogyakarta K3 Forum attended GIS training in Computer Laboratory on the 2nd floor of D building, Udinus. Yusthin Meranti Manglapy, SKM, MKes a Lecturer of Public Health of the Faculty of Health Udinus became the informant in the training. Several materials were presented to update the knowledge of the participants. "Various tools about Public Health related to GIS should always be updated for lecturers, especially lecturers from Public Health Study Program.
