UMS MAKES COOPERATION WITH UDINUS
Being the best means nothing if never inspire the other. Inspired by Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (UDINUS) as the third best private campus in Indonesia, Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi (UMS) Brebes visited Semarang to gain some knowledge. During the visitation a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between UDINUS and UMS in rectorate room, on the 1st floor of G building, UDINUS.
"We are together with Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi Brebes want to support the education in Brebes. Some of their lecturers will study at UDINUS, "said The Rector of Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom on Wednesday 7th of March 2018.
Edi said that the education in Indonesia was improved from time to time. UDINUS kept producing qualified young generation that can compete in career world. Edi said that making cooperation with universities from abroad and within the country was one of the ways for Indonesia to move forward and well developed.
"UDINUS keep emphasizing to its students to not to stop working and make innovation. That will be the provision for them to design independent business. Hopefully UIDNUS can be a good example for UMS Brebes, "Edi said.
In 2017, UDINUS received 3573 students from various regions in Indonesia. But for the total number of students UDINUS reached about 12 thousand students from 5 faculties. "That number shows that UDINUS becomes the prime choice. We keep improving our quality so that all study programs can be accredited A, "Edi added.
Meanwhile, Dr. Roby Setiadi, SKom, MM said that the cooperation with UDINUS will help UMS improving the quality, especially in IT sector. "The age of our university is still very young, which is 5 years. We keep learning to develop the educational sector in Brebes District which is still far behind, education becomes a major tool in generating the economy and other sectors, "he said.
Roby also appreciated E-Gamelanku which created by UDINUS. He thought that the application was very unique because it combined culture and technology. "The target is that our lecturers can study at UDINUS, because in the future, it will be useful to improve the quality of human resources at our university. In addition, we are amazed by UDINUS' works. We are amazed by E-gamelanku. We hope that UDINUS will be able to create useful applications that can preserve the culture of our country, "he concluded.
