THE UPCOMING PUBLIC RELATION SEMINAR AT UDINUS
The Public Relations Association (Perhumas) of Semarang will hold a seminar entitled "The Power of Public Relations in The Disruption Era" at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (UDINUS) on April 28th, 2018. The purpose of the seminar is to make public relation ready to face everything in digital era. The Regional Secretary of Central Java Province, Ir. KRA Puryono, KS, MP, UDINUS’ Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir Edi Noersasongko, M. Kom, and the Chairman of BPP Perhumas, Agung Laksamana will be the speaker of this seminar.
The advisory board of BPC Perhumas Semarang, Agustina Devi said that besides building a positive perception about disruption era that will be faced by public relations practitioners, this seminar is also expected to improve the professionalism of regional public relations, institutions and industries in Semarang. According to Agustina, public relations should be able to support the development of a positive reputation for local governments and institutions. The seminar will also discuss about city branding that that will be very useful for local government. “the participants will also understand the strategic thinking of CEOs and institutional leaders in disruption era," she said on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 while she was having a meeting with UDINUS’ Rector in G building.
Agustina hoped that hundreds of participants from public and public relations practitioners were able to attend the seminar and ready to face globalization in technological era. The Head of UDINUS’ Public relation as well as the coach of Perhumas Semarang, Agus Triyono S. Sos, MSi mentioned that UDINUS would always cooperate with many parties and the seminar would become a medium to promote and improve the knowledge of human resources in Central Java.
