AUSTRALIAN EMBASSY REPRESENTATIVES VISIT UDINUS
Australian Trade and Investment Commission under the supervision of Australian embassy will cooperate with Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (UDINUS) to expand the cooperation in the field of technology. The representatives of Australian embassy will establish various cooperation with UDINUS under the recommendation of the Ministry of Communications and Informatics (Kominfo).
The visitation of Australian embassy was welcomed by the ranks of UDINUS and PT. Dinustek in the conference room of rectorate, on the 1st floor of G building. The cooperation process is still in the form of assessment between the two agencies. Australian Embassy Representative, Andrew Barnes said that his party chose Indonesia especially UDINUS to work with because Indonesia has a huge market for technological development and has qualified human resources.
"We saw that the startup in Indonesia continues to grow. It proves that the technology in Indonesia has improved. Therefore, if previously, the cooperation between Australia and Indonesia are only in agriculture and human resources field, now we want to expand the cooperation in technology, "he said on Thursday, April 26th, 2018.
Not only in the field of technology, Andrew also mentioned about cooperation in the field of health, cyber system solutions, and also education. For education field, Andrew mentioned that they offer a short course that can be followed by Indonesians after they passed the verification test. The short course will be very useful for applying jobs, and it can increase the competence of the employees. It can be followed by under graduate degree students until professor degree students, even those who already work can also join it.
"In the first project last year, our theme is more general, which is making application in general, the participants will go directly to the industry so that they are more focus on the existing problems. The breakthrough made by Dinustek and UDINUS through Madhang.id will answer the needs of the industry, "said Andrew appreciated the work of UDINUS.
