MITSUBISHI SUPPORTS PRACTICAL EQUIPMENT IN UDINUS
There are a lot of development in Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (UDINUS) after Mitsubishi Training Center was inaugurated in October 2017. Besides UDINUS’ Electrical Engineering students study program students can use the equipment from Mitsubishi Training Center, Mitsubishi Training Center is also become an attraction for new students who will join UDINUS.
On Tuesday, May 5th, 2018, Mitsubishi visited UDINUS. The visitation was welcomed by UDINUS’ Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko MKom, Vice Rector IV of Research and Cooperation, Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, ST, MKom, and Dean of Faculty of Engineering Dr. Dian Retno Sawitri Ir MT on the 1st floor of G Building, UDINUS’ Rectorate.
Mitsubishi party was represented by Susumu Oshibe, President Director of Mitsubishi Electric, Director of PT Setsuya Astec, Yoshizuka Yasuki, and Director of PT Millennium Energy, Firman Istiawan. "Our visitation is to give UDINUS an appreciation for the cooperation. UDINUS has helped us to contribute in Indonesian education, in order to support the young generation, "said Firman Istiawan.
Various activities have been conducted at the Faculty of Engineering, UDINUS, since the signing of MOU between UDINUS and PT Setsuya Astec. The MOU concludes the basic training for UDINUS’ lecturer till advanced training by trainers from PT Setsuya Astec. Mitsubishi Training Center is not only used for student practicum, but also for general training. Those who want to learn about factory automation is also welcome. "We will fully support the needs of UDINUS’ practical equipment to be able to perform a better practical activities at the Faculty of Engineering," added Firman.
Mitsubishi Training Center built in UDINUS is the only cooperation conducted in Indonesia, so it becomes the main attraction for the students. "The practical equipment from Mitsubishi is very useful for UDINUS, especially for students and lecturers.
