UDINUS’ GATHERING TO ASK FORGIVENESS
UDINUS just held a gathering to ask forgiveness at Wisma Perdamaian on Thursday, June 21st, 2018. The gathering was the closing of series of activities in Ramadhan 1439 H. More than 400 employees, representatives of student, and student’s organizations attended this gathering.
In the event, UDINUS’ Rector, Prof. Dr.Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom expressed his gratitude towards all academic communities because of their hard work there are many new students who enroll in UDINUS this year.
In his speech, Prof. Dr.Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom was so proud because of the extraordinary increasement of new student admissions. According to him, the entire study program got 200% increasement compared to last year. Recorded in 2017, UDINUS new students reach more than 3400 students.
"The number will continue to grow because the registration is still open till the end of the closure. It is targeted that UDINUS will have more than 4000 new students this year. All of this achievements can be achieved because of all the lecturers and students keep making achievements, "he said while giving a speech in the gathering.
The gathering was also attended by Kyai H. Supandi who gave preach about the meaning of Eid Al-Fitr and how to interpret it. A funny and casual attitude in the delivery of his preach made the gathering even more rousing.
At the end of his preach, Kyai H.Supandi advised all UDINUS’ academicians to be courageous and be able to appreciate the differences in Indonesia. He said that all religions teach about goodness and love for others. "Nobody perfect in this world, we all will do sin but we must be able to realize the mistakes and able to forgive everyone," he said.
The Head of UDINUS’ Public Relation, Agus Triyono, S. Sos, MSi concluded that the athering is UDINUS’ tradition after Eid Al-Fitr holiday. He hoped that the gathering could increase the performance of lecturers and employees and also able to continue to lift the name of UDINUS in the national and international world. "This has become a tradition after Eid Al-Fitr holiday. We shaking hands each other and forgive, meaning that there’s no problems between us ", he concluded.
