KAPLINK UDINUS CONVEY WOMEN’S RIGHTS STRUGGLE
Commemorating the birth month of Raden Ajeng Kartini, Theater Kaplink of Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus) will perform a drama with the theme of women's struggles on Wednesday, April 12th 2017.
Monday, April 10th 2017, the stage trial conducted in the 3rd floor of Building E Udinus. The story of women's struggles in the past was very evident in the performances. Entitled "the last flower", Kaplink Theater intended to convey the messages of woman’s rights struggle in the colonial era that used wisely by modern women. Morality and ethic of modern women must be maintained so that the women’s struggles in the colonial era are not be the last flower.
Several theater communities in the Semarang City, such as Lingkar Theater and Semarang Campus Theater Forum (Fotkas) attended the Pre-stage. They provided comments and suggestions for the cast and crew on duty. Yulia Soebroto, a Chairman of Working Group II of the PKK of Semarang City charges in the Education Program and Cooperative Life Skills Development, also attended this event along with other members. "Mrs. Krisseptiana Hendrar Prihadi, a Chairman of Semarang PKK sent me to attend this Pre-stage. I was amazed watching the women’s players brought their role, "she said. The 70-year-old woman also said that creativity of Kaplink Theater visualized women’s right struggles very touching and got her to her youth.
The staging of Udinus Kaplink Theater entitled "The Last Flowers" will be held on the 3rd floor of Building E at 19:00 with price 10K. (* PR)
