THE HUMANITIES FACULTY AT UDINUS TIED A COLLABORATION WITH THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE FACULTY AT UNMAS TO IMPROVE THE ACCREDITATION OF THEIR LANGUAGE SECTOR

Committed to supporting the Independent Campus Program (MBKM), the Humanities Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU consisted of a partnership agreement between the Humanities Faculty at Udinus and the Foreign Language Faculty at Universitas Mahasaraswati (Unmas) Denpasar. The agreement was hosted online.
 
The agreement was signed by Dr. Raden Arief Nugroho, S.S., M.Hum., (the Dean of the Humanities Faculty at Udinus) and Dr. Dra. Sri Mulatsih, M.Pd., (the Secretary Dean of the Humanities Faculty). On that occasion, Dr. Sunardi, S.S., M.Pd., (the Head of the English Department at Udinus) and Dr. Bayu Aryanto, S.S., M.Hum., (the Head of the Japanese Literature Department at Udinus) also made an appearance.
 
Meanwhile, from the Unmas side, the agreement was signed by I Komang Sulatra, S.S., M.Hum., (the Dean of the Foreign Language Faculty at Unmas) and Dr. Desak Putu Eka Pratiwi, S.S., M.Hum., (the Vice Dean of Academic and Student Affairs). It was also witnessed by Gusti Bagus Wahyu Nugraha Putra, S.S., M.Hum., (the Head of the English Department at Unmas) and Ni Wayan Meidariani, S.S., M.Hum., (the Head of the Japanese Literature Department at Unmas).
 
Dr. Raden Arief Nugroho, S.S., M.Hum., stated that there would be various work programs to be conducted during this partnership, particularly in the academic field. Those work programs might include Independent Campus Student Exchange programs and research collaborations between students and faculty members. 
 
“Hopefully, this MoU may not only be a formality but also a tangible action resulting in also tangible impacts. This is because both parties are committed to improving the quality of their respective institution,” the dean uttered.
 
The agreement was held online using the Zoom Meeting platform. The whole procession was witnessed by Izza Ulumuddin Ahmad Asshofi, S.E., M.Par., (the Coordinator of Internship and Partnership Affairs at the Humanities Faculty at Udinus) and Anisa Larassati, S.S., M.Ling., (the Coordinator of Public Relation and Promotion Affairs).
 
I Komang Sulatra, S.S., M.Hum., (the Dean of the Foreign Language at Unmas) expressed his gratitude to both the English and Japanese Literature Departments. Furthermore, he revealed that this was a golden opportunity for Unmas to earn a better accreditation. Through this partnership, both parties will also support the accreditation process and the Independent Campus program initiated by the government.
