Kenalkan konsep ISO kepada seluruh laboran, Fakultas Ilmu Komputer (FIK) Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) Semarang gelar pelatihan ‘Awareness Training Manajemen Risiko & Sistem Manajemen Mutu Berbasis ISO 9001:2015. Kegiatan yang juga diikuti oleh pimpinan dan koordinator laboran FIK Udinus itu diselenggarakan di ruang rapat gedung H lantai 1 Udinus.
The training program, hosted on October 31st, 2022, aimed to improve the quality of all computer labs at Udinus. On that occasion, all 26 participants were taught the concept of ISO in great detail. Those 26 participants mainly consisted of the head of the lab staff, the coordinator, the Vice Dean of the Computer Science Faculty, and the whole lab staff. At the training program, the learning materials were presented by the ISO consultant team from Yura Prima Solusindo.
Budi Harjo, M.Kom., the Head of the Computer Lab Staff, stated that the training program sought to push the computer lab to be ISO 9001:2015 certified. This certification served as a quality management standard issued by the International Organization for Standardization. Through this training program, the participants were taught several conditions for a quality management system to be established.
“Beberapa materi yang kami dapatkan antara lain, lingkup, referensi normatif dan istilah dari sistem manajemen mutu itu sendiri. Lalu lebih dalam mempelajari konteks organisasi, kepemimpinan dan perencanaan,” ungkapnya.
Furthermore, Budi added that there were supporting materials consisting of work operational and evaluation. He revealed that one of the most important conditions the lab had to meet was being able to fulfill students’ needs consistently. Another condition was that the lab staff must be prepared for the worst scenario to happen within the computer lab so the learning quality would not undergo a decline.
“Diharapkan seluruh laboran Udinus dapat memahami konsep ISO 9001:2015. Sehingga mampu mengimplementasikannya dalam proses bisnis layanan di semua laboratorium komputer yang ada di Udinus,” tambahnya.
The event ran well, with participants enthusiastically asking questions to all of the speakers presenting the learning materials.
Meanwhile, Affandy, M.Kom., Ph.D., the Vice Dean I of the Computer Science Faculty, hoped for the whole computer lab staff to utilize this opportunity to its maximum extent. He uttered that the staff had to understand all the conditions for the lab to be ISO-certified.’
“Ini menjadi langkah FIK untuk terus meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas sarana prasarana yang ada di lingkungan kampus. Sehingga mutu dan kualitas mahasiswa Udinus juga dapat meningkat dengan konsisten mengikuti perkembangan zaman,” tutupnya. (Humas Udinus/Haris. Foto: Humas Udinus)
