Hendriansyah, an Information Systems student at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), was chosen as the winner of the 2022 National Accomplished Student Selection (Pilmapres). At the selection, he was selected as the Public Empowerment Student, eliminating thousands of other participants in the process.

The Pilmapres or the National Accomplished Student Selection itself is a competition involving students to prove their abilities. It is initiated by the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology annually.

During his process of participating in this event, Hendriansyah managed to carve his way to the national level, representing Central Java. His newly achieved title was embodied through his commitment to empowering the public using his startup, Culture Academy.

Hendriansyah, a student of the 2019 cohort, expressed his joy for successfully bringing pride to the campus at that national selection. According to him, the final selection he previously participated in was very strict and tiresome. Through his startup, Culture Academy, he successfully empowered 2175 SMEs in Indonesia.

“Pilmapres has indeed been my final destination upon collecting accomplishments throughout my studies,” he explained.

Hendriansyah, currently the CEO of Culture Academy, revealed that Udinus had provided meaningful support from start to finish of this selection. Not only did the campus provide material support, but they also gave him moral support as well.

Upon being asked his next steps, Herdiansyah claimed that he would further develop Culture Academy. Using this startup, he is committed to assisting Indonesian SMEs to export their products across the globe, leading to a domestic economical growth.

“I hope Udinus will be able to maintain its status as a campus with many accomplished students and push students to be even more successful than I am,” he uttered.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., the Chancellor of Udinus, expressed his pride for the remarkable achievement attained by Herdiansyah. To sustain this accomplishment, Udinus fully supported Herdiansyah’s journey of reaching the finale of the 2022 Pilmapres. According to the chancellor, Herdiansyah was among the most dedicated students, as he could essentially attract accomplishments using his startup.

“This attainment is truly another token of pride for the campus. The startup developed by Herdiansyah has indeed seen its beginning when he was in high school. With the support of the academic community, the startup began to undergo rapid growth,” the chancellor concluded. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Foto: Dok. Pribadi)
