“Being a lecturer is such a noble thing to do as he or she provides the students with his or her knowledge and experience,” Imam uttered.
Imam has been a lecturer in the Management Study Program at Udinus for ten years. He shared that being a lecturer in the Management Program was an excellent choice for him to carve out his career. Imam achieved many accomplishments during his time as a lecturer at Udinus, one of which was serving as the Head of UPT Entrepreneurship from 2017 to 2020.
Imam, born in Demak, on November 1st, 1983, had given guidance to many of his students to be accomplished in several business and entrepreneurship competitions including, the Students’ Creativity Program (PKM-K); Indonesian Students’ Entrepreneurship Program (KBMI), and Students’ Business Innovation Competition (KIBM).
The students he guided had acquired funding for developing their businesses. To this day, Imam is still actively involved in managing and guiding entrepreneurship programs. “The recent entrepreneurship programs were Students’ Guiding Entrepreneurship Program (P2MW), and Independent Entrepreneurship Program (WMK),” Imam uttered.
Imam had done many efforts to instill entrepreneurship skills in students, mainly by lecturing. Moreover, the Management Study Program possessed three courses relating to the students’ entrepreneurship competence. “Basic Entrepreneurship, Start-up Business, and Advanced Business are the courses,” continued the owner of @mr.imamnuryanto Instagram account.
In addition to teaching or lecturing, Imam also often participated in many entrepreneurship seminars and workshops. Imam said that he had not encountered many obstacles during his time instructing the students.
“I think Udinus has a decent Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. Udinus provided sufficient facilities for students to develop their businesses. Hence, being a very nice place to convey your entrepreneurial skills,” Imam said.
