The Applied Hotel Management Program in the Faculty of Humanities at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), Semarang had officially been accredited as ‘B’ by the Board of National Accreditation for Higher Education (BAN-PT).

This statement is listed in the accreditation certificate with the number SK No. 2611/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/STr/VII/2023 and was applied on July, 4th 2023 in Jakarta. For a study program, accreditation is a guarantee that the study program is qualified according to the government’s standards. The fact that the Applied Hotel Management Program achieved the ‘B’ accreditation indicates that the study program’s management is considerably good.

Dr. Raden Arief Nugroho, S.S., M.Hum, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, explained that the ‘B’ accreditation achieved by the Hotel Management Major showed that the study program’s handling was impressive.

“We are proud of this achievement. This achievement is certainly credited to all parties involved and the whole academic community of Udinus,” Arief said.

The Hotel Management Study Program has been equipped with laboratories portraying the hospitality sector’s situation such as the front office labhousekeeping lab, and foods and beverages lab.

“All facilities are capable of supporting the learning process done by lecturers and students. Therefore, the Hotel Management Study Program could be a primary choice for those who want to continue their education,” the dean added.

The Applied Hotel Management Program is arguably the newest study program in the Faculty of Humanities at Udinus. The study program is developing as society’s enthusiasm toward the hospitality and tourism sector grows. Specifically, the expanding collaboration between stakeholders will be able to produce many talented graduates in the hospitality sector.

"Having acquired the ‘B’ accreditation for the Hotel Management Study Program, we will increase our work performance, even more, to give our best to students,” said Dr. Neni Kurniawati, S.S., M.Hum., the Head of the Applied Hotel Management Study Program at Udinus.
