The new students of the 2023/2024 cohort in the Health Science Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) were inaugurated on the first day of the 2023 Dinus Inside at the K building’s courtyard. On that occasion, they were also introduced to the campus environment.
The inauguration was done symbolically by the Dean of the Health Science Faculty, Enny Rachmani, S.K.M., M.Kom., Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice Dean, Dr. Nurjanah, S.KM, M.Kes, and all Heads of Study Programs from the Undergraduate Environmental Health Program, the Undergraduate Public Health Program, and the Diploma of Medical Record and Information Program. The lecturers and lab technicians in the faculty also made an appearance at the event.
The Dean officially inaugurated 363 new students. Hopefully, all students could participate and finish their studies, research, and community services, as well as uplift the alma mater wherever they are.
“Currently, the Health Science faculty aims to be the foremost faculty in the IT-based Health Education and Entrepreneurship fields. Pushing students to invent innovations which beneficial to the public is also one of our visions,” The dean uttered.
The Faculty of Health Science at Udinus is well-equipped with various laboratories including, Biomedical Lab, Nutrition Lab, Environmental Microbiology Lab, Epidemiology Lab, and Environmental Health Lab.
The 2023 Dinus Inside Chief Organizer in the Health Science Faculty, Naufal Rizky Fadhlurrohman explained that the first day mainly focused on inauguration and introduction to the lecturers within the faculty. On this occasion, the newly enrolled students would also be presented to the faculty members and the campus environment, such as classrooms and several laboratories.
“The new students were also informed regarding the code of conduct in our faculty. We hope that they can greet all lecturers in the faculty, maintain the facilities, and abide by this faculty’s regulations,” he explained.
A student representative in the Department of Public Health, Halima Arinnisa Nisa, was glad to be accepted at this superior private university in Central Java. She revealed that she could gather experience and friends by attending the first day of the 2023 Dinus Inside.
“Today, I was proud to represent the Department of Public Health to be inaugurated by the Dean. Hopefully, soon, I could build my relations here at Udinus,” she concluded.
Currently, there are two study programs accredited as ‘Superior’ in the Health Science Faculty namely, the Undergraduate Environmental Health Study Program and the Diploma of Medical Records and Information.
