Tito Wira Eka Suryawijaya, better known as 'Tito,' is an enthusiastic student who is dedicated to expanding his knowledge. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Management at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), Tito does not limit his educational journey to a single institution. Through online learning, Toti is simultaneously studying at two prestigious international universities. He's enrolled in the Juris Doctor (J.D) program at the University of California, Los Angeles, and is also pursuing a Master's in International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
Tito revealed that he was encouraged to take both education in abroad universities due to the alignment of the study programs with his passion. The Juris Doctor program can assist him in improving his understanding toward jurisprudence and the legal law mechanism from the multiculturism perspective.
“While undergoing study for a Master in International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, I will be getting an understanding more in political dynamics and global studies. This matter is relevant to the Bachelor of International Relations Program and Master of National Resilience Studies that I’m currently taking,” added Tito.
Despite taking multiple studies at different universities, he openly acknowledges that Udinus provides a comfortable, conducive, and supportive academic environment. Born in Malang, Tito has developed a well-structured weekly schedule to efficiently manage his busy schedule, ensuring that he doesn't miss out on anything important. Here at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) has high quality and experienced lecturers in their respective fields,” said Tito.
Being Active in Student Activity
Tito who loves reading books, first enrolled at Udinus in the Off-Main Campus Program at Kediri through the ‘Future’ scholarship by the Dian Nuswantoro Foundation, collaborating with the local government at Kediri City. Tito is also actively participating on campus and taking part in making innovations regarding student activity. During his freshmen year, Toti and his friends created the branch or subdivision student organization Kediri Campus from the Main Campus at Semarang.
In 2021, he started to join the Student Representative Council (SRC) at Udinus. Later, during the 2022/2023 period, he was chosen as the General Chief of the Student Representative Council (SRC).
“Before officially inaugurated as the candidate of the general chief, there is some fit & proper test that needs to be taken by Tito through administrative selection which consists of a national vision test, followed by the candidate test through debate against other candidates. Lastly, the result of voting which was chosen directly by the Udinus’ student will determine the winner,” he emphasized.
As an active student, Tito has discovered numerous advantages that come with participating in student organizations. These benefits include skill development, expanding his network, acquiring additional knowledge, and gaining valuable experiences, particularly through scholarship opportunities. Thanks to the scholarship program at Udinus, Tito enjoys the benefit of having his college tuition covered.
“Besides personal advantages, participating organizations can give advantages for students to contribute to the campus as well as the public. Students are able to participate in social activities which are beneficial for local communities,” explained Tito.
Tito is an unstoppable achiever who has actively engaged in student organizations. Under the handle @titowes, he has a remarkable list of accomplishments. In 2023, he secured a Gold Medal in the Nikola Tesla's Face VI Nations Cup competition organized by the Belgrade Association of Inventors. He also received an Honorable Mention at the 7th International Relations on Indonesian Foreign Policy Conference. In addition, he took the third-place championship in the Business Plan competition during the Management Weekly Event and was recognized as the Best Presenter at the International Conference on Management and Small Medium Enterprise.
