Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) Semarang welcomed a comparative study visitation from Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta. The comparative study mainly discussed various aspects, including public relations, promotion, and international affairs.
The visitation took place in the conference room located on the first floor of the H building at Udinus, and it aimed to share experience and tighten the connection between both institutions. The delegations from Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta were warmly welcomed by Dr. Ir. Dwi Eko Waluyo, M.M., (the Head of the Partnership and International Affairs at Udinus), who was accompanied by Andi Hallang Lewa, S.S., M.M., (the Head of the Admission and Promotion Bureau at Udinus), and other staff members including, Dwi Utaminingsih, S.Kom., M.M., (the Head of the Public Relations and Protocol at Udinus) and Cinatya Paramita, S.Kom., M.Eng., (the Vice Chief of the Partnership and International Affairs Agency at Udinus).
During his opening speech, Dr. Dwi Eko Waluyo expressed his honor to Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta for trusting Udinus as a place to conduct a Comparative Study. In addition, he was also honored to be a place for Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta to share its experience with Udinus.
“Hopefully, our meeting here does not only provide new insight but also allow both institutions to deepen our relationship,” he revealed.
Rumini, M.Kom., the Head of the Partnership Division at Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta, appreciated the warm welcome from Udinus. In addition to further deepening the bonds between both institutions, the comparative study also serves as an opening for future potential partnerships involving both parties. “We want to express our gratitude to Udinus for welcoming us with open arms,” Rumini explained.
Rumini added that the discussion in the comparative study would focus on several aspects, including partnership maintenance, public relations, and international affairs.
“Hopefully, with our discussion with Udinus, we will be able to learn much from their experience, particularly the aspects that become our priorities,” Rumini added.
The event was a strategic moment to share experiences and deepen both parties’ insight and synergies in various fields, particularly partnership maintenance, public relations, promotion, and international affairs.
As a symbol of expanding connection and collaboration, both institutions symbolically exchanged souvenirs. On that occasion, Udinus was represented by Dr. Ir. Dwi Eko Waluyo, M.M., (the Head of the Partnership and International Affairs Agency at Udinus). At the same time, Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta was represented by Rumini, M.Kom. This procession was witnessed by everyone attending the comparative study visitation.
Both institutions stated their optimism in the future that they would maintain their harmonious relationship by holding the initiative, as well as innovative partnership programs.
