The Dinusfest 2025 Is Officially Open as a Platform to Develop Skills and Youths’ Potential

Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) once again held the 2025 Dinus Festival (Dinusfest) to provide platforms for high school and college students to showcase their passions. The festival was participated by more than 4,000 students from various regions in Indonesia. It was officially opened in the auditorium on the third floor of the E building at Udinus, on Wednesday, January 5, 2025.

The annual festival was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Dra. Kusni Ingsih, M.M., ., the Vice Chancellor III of Student Affairs. It was carried out symbolically by pounding a gong. During her opening speech, she stated that Dinusfest served as a platform for students to hone their skills and compete in a healthy way.

“This year, there are 40 kinds of contests students can participate in. These contests encompass a wide variety of fields that students can participate per their passions,” she revealed.

Additionally, Prof. Kusni explained that these contests were products of collaborations with several Student Units and Student Organizations at Udinus. She further revealed that Dinusfest also aimed to discover young talented individuals. These individuals would later be invited to study at Udinus through scholarships given by the campus.

On that occasion, several campus units were also present, including the Student Affairs Bureau, campus activists, and a select few Dinusfest participants.

The Head Organizer of the 2025 Dinusfest who was also the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, Dr. Rindra Yusianto, S.Kom., M.T., reported that several contests had been held since January 18, 2025, and the whole festival will continue until February 19, 2025. Hopefully, the entire festival can run well and benefit all parties involved.

“Wishfully, this event will run well until all of the contests held. Through this event, we will grant scholarships to talented students, as well as introduce them to Udinus,” he concluded.
