The Student Executive Board Faculty of Computer Science (BEM FIK) at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and passion in a futsal tournament. The tournament was entitled ‘FIX CUP 6.0,’ which took place at Satria Sport Center (USSC) owned by Udinus.
The tournament was themed ‘United Goals, Great Opportunity for Achievement, Learning and Skills.’ At the tournament, participants were encouraged to uphold the spirit of unity, allowing the event to serve as an opportunity for them to learn and enhance their skills.
Rafael Albion Savero, the Head Organizer of FIX CUP 6.0, revealed that the event lasted for two days, starting from May 17 to 18, 2025. It was participated in by fourteen teams from high schools in Semarang, as well as seven teams from various departments in the Computer Science Faculty at Udinus.
“As for the winner, we divided it into several categories. For the high school division, we included a podium consisting of three places, as well as the best supporter. We also give appreciation to individual players in the form of titles, including Top Scorer, Most Valuable Player (MVP), Best Player, and Best Keeper. For the college category, we only awarded the first-place winner,” he explained.
In addition to the futsal tournament, there was also an expo showcasing departments in the Computer Science Faculty at Udinus. All students of the Computer Science Faculty were obliged to partake in the expo, and it was also optional for students from other faculties at Udinus.
“This expo aimed to promote our campus to high school students, as well as to kindle their desire to continue their studies,” he continued.
Building Collaboration Spirits
The entire event was symbolically opened by the Vice Rector I of Academic Affairs of the Computer Science Faculty at Udinus, Dr. Ir. Pujiono, S.Si., M.Kom., IPM., ASEAN Eng., by kicking a football to the goal. On that occasion, he was accompanied by the Student Coordinator of the Computer Science Faculty, Filmada Ocky Saputra, M.Eng., and Gustina Alfa Trisnapradika, M.Kom.
Dr. Pujiono expressed his appreciation to the participants and organizers for passionately participating in the event. He also reminded the participants to utilize this opportunity to its maximum capacity to improve their skills in futsal, as well as uphold sportsmanship.
