The Rector of Udinus Prof. Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., M.Kom., congratulated the New Mayor of Kediri, Vinanda Prameswari, S.H., M.Kn., for her election, as well as giving 25 scholarships from Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) to Kediri City Government.
The handover of the scholarships took place on May 23, 2025, when the rector went on an outing in Kediri. “With our sincerest joy and honor, the academic community at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro shall congratulate Vinanda Prameswati, S.H., M.Kn., as the New Mayor of Kediri. Hopefully, under her new administration, Kediri City shall flourish into a better, more competitive, and inclusive city,” uttered Pulung during his speech at the mayor’s official residence, at Jl. Basuki Rahmat No. 15, Kediri City.
On that occasion, the Rector of Udinus was accompanied by the Head of the Dian Nuswantoro Foundation—Lakshiputri Arnindita, S.Sos., M.M., the Vice Rector of Academic Affairs at Udinus—Dr. Abdul Syukur, M.M., and the Chief of Public Relations and Protocols at Udinus, Nining Sekar.

During the visit, the rector stated that the partnership between Udinus and the Kediri City government had run since 2021. As a higher education institution with Excellent accreditation and international recognition, Udinus is committed to developing human resources and science advancements, and this commitment is embodied by synergizing with the Kediri City Government. These commitments concern education, research, community programs, and innovations.
“Similar to the previous years, we gave 25 full scholarships to the Kediri City Government to support the advancement of education in Kediri City. We hereby let the government manage how the scholarships will be distributed, and the selection will be conducted in August 2025,” Pulung emphasized.
Annually, since 2021, Udinus has given 25 scholarships to the Kediri City Government, with the scholarships entitled ‘The Future Scholarship.’ More than 100 scholarships have been handed to the city government to improve the education sector in Kediri City.
The New Mayor of Kediri, Vinanda, warmly welcomed the rector and his companions. The mayor herself was also accompanied by the Head of the Local Planning Department (Bappeda), Chevy Ning Suyudi, S.T. With a familial atmosphere, Vinanda expressed her appreciation to the Rector of Udinus. “We proudly receive the concrete actions and consistency from Udinus in nurturing and improving education in Kediri City. These 25 scholarships shall be used to their fullest extent. Wishfully, the partnership between both parties can remain solid for the years to come,” she concluded.
