Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) has been tirelessly committed to improving its Human Resources (HR) quality, marked by decrees issued by the Higher Education Service Institute of Region VI. The decrees stated the appointment of a professor and an associate professor, and they were handed on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, in the H building of the Higher Education Service Institute of Region VI, Semarang.

On that occasion, the professor degree in the field of Sustainable Smart Agro-logistics and Supply Chains was handed to Prof. Dr. Rindra Yusianto, S.Kom., M.T., who was a faculty member of the Engineering Faculty at Udinus. Meanwhile, the associate professor degree in the field of Environmental and Social Accounting was received by Dr. Imang Dapit Pamungkas, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., CIBA., who was a lecturer from the Economics and Business Faculty at Udinus. The decrees were handed by Dr. Bhimo Widyo Andoko, S.H., M.H., the Head of the Higher Education Service Institute of Region VI.

During his opening speech, Dr. Bihmo stated that promotion was not the end of a journey. As a matter of fact, it was a new beginning toward new responsibilities, particularly in improving the quality of scientific works and tangible contributions to the general public.

“Professors are expected to keep producing more work. They must actively participate in writing papers and conducting research. These research projects must be able to be translated to policy briefs and tangible programs for the good of the general public,” he emphasized.

As additional information, the decree handover was conducted simultaneously by the Head of the Higher Education Service Institute of Region VI Central Java, with 27 participants from 17 universities, both public and private.

After the event, Prof. Supriadi Rustad welcomed warmly and expressed his gratitude to both Prof. Rindra and Dr. Imang for their decrees. Prof. Supriadi Rustad also expressed his pride, as one of those two decrees was earned by a faculty member from the Engineering Faculty.

“We are optimistic about seeing the improvement of our faculty members this year, as there have been two proposed professors appointed this year, with five to six more being predicted to earn their professor titles. We would also like to motivate our faculty members, as their promotions are indeed maintained and supported by the university,” he concluded. (Humas Udinus/Penulis: Haris. Foto: Humas Udinus)
