Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), particularly the Faculty of Economics and Business FEB) expanded its international network through a partnership for work programs with two institutions from Japan. Udinus partnered with both Elpro Ltd Japan and NPO Kodomo Mirai Souzou Gakuen, and the partnership was entitled Career and Internship Opportunities in Japan . It was officially valid on Friday, June 13, 2025, in a socialization event.

The event was aimed at alumni and students of the Economics and Business Faculty at Udinus, with leaders from Udinus and both companies making an appearance. It took place on the fifth floor of the I building at Udinus. The leaders from both companies were welcomed by the Vice Rector IV of Research, Partnership, and Innovation Affairs at Udinus, Prof. Dr. Supriadi Rustad, M.Si.

On this occasion, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Dean of the Economics and Business Faculty, Prof. Dr. Amron, S.E., M.M. The signing was witnessed by all head departments at the faculty, as well as staff members from the International Partnership Affairs at Udinus.

Prof. Amron stated that this partnership scoped three aspects of Tridharma. This five-year partnership is expected to open new career opportunities for students or alumni who are inclined to work overseas.

“We want this partnership to be utilized properly as a job opportunity for alumni, staff exchange, and volunteering programs in Japan. This is a tangible commitment from Udinus to partnering with foreign institutions,” he stated on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Appreciation and Expectation from Japanese Companies

Also signing the MoU, Furukawa Akinori, as a representative from Elpro Ltd Japan, was present to explain that Elpro Ltd Japan is general trading company located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Meanwhile, Otani Mimi was also present, accompanied by Ms. Sachiko Yamazaki, Mr. Wakimoto Taishi, Mr. Akinori, and Mr. Sengoku, as representatives from Kodmo Mirai Gakuen, which is among the biggest academic foundations in Japan, fostering kindergartens, elementary schools, and junior high schools.

Furukawa Akinori expressed his appreciation to the Economics and Business Faculty for warmly greeting them. He hoped that this partnership could be a strategic bridge to open a new path for students and alumni to attain a global career.

“This visitation is our second time. Previously, in 2024, we visited Udinus to initiate this partnership. This kind of partnership is indeed uncommon, and we expect the best possible results,” he concluded.
