Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) has a commitment to shaping students into admirable entrepreneurs through its Entrepreneurship Agency (LKWU). Udinus routinely holds this event, the 2025 National Creanovative, as a means for students to showcase their business ideas. It lasted for two days, starting from Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

The event was hosted in the courtyard of the F building at Udinus. It was officially opened by the Rector of Udinus, Prof. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., M.Kom., , accompanied by the Vice Rector III of Student Affairs, Prof. Kusni Ingsih, M.M., and the Head of the Entrepreneurship Agency (LKWU) at Udinus, Dr. Nila Tristiani, S.E., M.Si.

During his opening speech, the Rector of Udinus stated that the event was a product of a vision Udinus aspired to achieve. This vision made Udinus a primary choice in the field of education and entrepreneurship.

“We broke this vision down with entrepreneurship courses in every department at Udinus. As it is publicly known, the job market has become less and less of an opportunity for job seekers. Because of that, it is important for students to hold entrepreneurship knowledge to start their own business,” Prof. Pulung explained.

The rector exclaimed that Creanovative could give students opportunities to unleash their creativity and become true entrepreneurs. With this expertise, students will be able to face the professional business realm upon graduation.

“After graduating, students are expected to open new job opportunities. The results of this event are also expected to be implemented and befit many,” he emphasized.

The Head of the Entrepreneurship Agency (LKWU) at Udinus, Dr. Nila Tristiani, S.E., M.Si., revealed that the event consisted of two contest categories, including Expo Creanovative and Pitch Deck. In the Expo Creanovative category, there were 31 participants out of all 48 who could market their creative products at their designated stalls.

“As for the Pitch Deck category, participants were obliged to present their business proposals that will take place on the second floor of the F building at Udinus. There will be 20 best finalists for internal and national criteria,” she explained.

Several professionals were also featured as judges at the event. Those judges were the CEO of E-Club Indonesia—Bryan Erfanda Putra, the Branch Manager of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk of the Semarang Branch—Sugiyopranoto Nur Endhra Gustiarko, the Co-Founder of the National Entrepreneurial Empowerment Forum—Shandy Aditya, BIB., MPBS, and a representative from the Student Affairs Bureau at Udinus—Prof. Dr. Rindra Yusianto, S.Kom., M.T.

Nila explained that what made the 2025 Creanovative from the previous years lay in the participants. This year, the participants not only came from Udinus, with some of them even came from other universities in Surakarta and Banda Aceh.

“This event is a commitment from Udinus to developing the field of entrepreneurship. Hopefully, this event can turn participants into exceptional Indonesian entrepreneurs,” she concluded. (Humas Udinus/Penulis: Ika. Editor: Haris. Foto: Humas Udinus)
