Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) has officially tied a collaboration with the Indonesian Police Department, with the agreement marking the beginning of their partnership.

Sementara itu, Kepala Kepolisian Republik Indonesia pada kesempatan ini diwakili oleh Kepala Bagian Kebijakan Pendidikan Pelatihan (Jadiklat) Rojianstra SSDM Polri, Kombes Pol Defrian Donimando, SIK, M.H. Hadir pula seluruh Wakil Rektor Udinus, Kepala Biro Kerja sama dan Urusan Internasional (KUI) Udinus serta jajaran dari Polri. Acara berlangsung dengan lancar dan berlokasi di ruang rapat gedung H lantai 1 Udinus.

This agreement served as a tangible step to enhancing the resources, infrastructure, and facilities possessed by both parties. As Defrian Donimando stated, the police department and the campus could hopefully impact both parties in a positive manner.

“Our partnership has been running well for so long. Our partnership mainly consists of various activities, including an agreement between the Medicine Faculty at Udinus and the Bhayangkara Hospital and many others,” he explained

Meanwhile, the Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., expressed his pleasure and pride for being trusted by the police department. In addition, he also revealed that their partnership had been going strong for a while, and several faculty members from the campus had also taught at the Police Academy.

Moreover, Udinus has also been trusted by the police to host the Police Academy Cadet Selection, particularly the Academic Potential Test.

Annually, the Police Academy Cadet Selection is hosted at Udinus. The selection test mainly consists of the Academic Potential Test using computers by utilizing the computer lab located on the second floor of the D building.

“Through today’s agreement, all forms of partnerships of both parties will be compiled into one singular collaboration. Hopefully, this bond could get even tighter and benefit the public,” the chancellor hoped.

In addition to human resources, facilities, and infrastructure enhancement, the agreement also scoped data exchange and utilization, education programs, assessment, research, community services, institutional development, and Independent Campus Program implementation.
