The Economics and Business Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) hosted a discussion session involving student organizations and their leadership on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 at Mangga Dua Courtyard at Udinus.
The discussion, which was a part of the 2024 Dinus Inside, aimed to inform freshmen about student organizations they could join in the Economics and Business Faculty. The discussion was attended by leaders of all student organizations in the faculty. There are six student organizations being showcased at the discussion, including the Student Executive Board (BEM), the Student Council Representatives (DPM), the Management Student Association (HMM), the Accounting Student Association, the Tax Center Bureau (TC), the Capital Market Study Group Bureau (KSPM).
At the event, the Organization Leaders discussed the importance of joining organizations and time management. Time management refers to how well students allocate their time for academic and organizational activities.
Audiya Adi Prameswari—the Coordinator of the Event and the Vice Governor of the Student Executive Board of the Economics and Business Faculty—hoped for this event to motivate freshmen to join student organizations.
“The discussion is expected to motivate freshmen to join student organizations in addition to regular academic activities. By doing so, they will later have the ability to conduct field activities, which is among many benefits of joining student organizations,” she concluded.
As additional information, the Dinus Inside itself is a student orientation event for freshmen, with a total of 3,567 freshmen participating in the event. The event, which lasts for three days, aims to introduce freshmen to the academic systems and various important aspects on campus. (Humas Udinus/Shazia WTDN. Foto: Humas Udinus)
