Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) signed a partnership contract with 36 partners in the 2024 Independent Entrepreneurship Program (WMK). This partnership aims to give technical meetings and an onboarding schedule for all 316 participants of the WMK program at Udinus, consisting of students from various universities in Indonesia.
The contract was symbolically signed by Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.M., the Vice Chancellor III of Academic Affairs, and three representatives of these 36 partners.
These partners were companies pursuing several sectors, including services, technology, and manufacturing. The whole procession took place on the seventh floor of the H building, attended by all participants of the WMK program at Udinus, on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024.
During her opening speech, Dr. Kusni Ingsih explained that after the contract signing, students would do an onboarding process for their desired partners, aligning with their businesses’ interests.
“They will conduct the onboarding program for six weeks and learn about entrepreneurship, such as initiating a business, packaging products, and developing a whole new market,” Kusni revealed.
She added that through the WMK program, Udinus was committed to playing an active role in pushing one million students to be young entrepreneurs. “Hopefully, this program will provide students insight to start their businesses,” she uttered.
Upon the contract signing, there was a sharing session with various business owners. One of these business owners was Iwan A. Setiaji, the Owner of Kasturi Group Indonesia.
“I hope students will be able to utilize this opportunity to expand their insight. Thus, they will be able to initiate their businesses or further develop the pre-existing ones,” Iwan said.
With this partnership, Udinus expected the WMK Program to serve as a platform for students to further improve their potential as entrepreneurs, as well as come up with new business innovations in the future. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Foto: Humas Udinus)
