Participated by hundreds of participants, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) facilitated the German Language Certification Test. The test was a form of collaboration between the Faculty of Humanity (FIB) and Goethe-Institut Indonesien.  

From July, 21st to 22nd 2023, there was a test for the participants who took the German Language Certification Test. The same test was also organized several times prior. The test took place in the D building’s classrooms and there will be a seminar bearing the theme “Live and Work in Germany.” The seminar will be held on Saturday, July, 22nd 2023 in the D5.5P at Udinus.

Phillipp Carl, the head of the German Language Course and Goethe-Institut Indonesien Test, said that not only did Goethe-Institut Indonesien offer German courses, but they also offered many cultural programs. According to him, the test taking place at Udinus went smoothly without any technical issues.

“Our test has been approved and certified globally,” Carl said.

Sombatua Sihotang, the Coordinator of Goethe Pre-integration Project-Institut Indonesien, explained that the seminar regarding living and working in Germany will be taking place on July 21st. It will give the Humanities Faculty’s students and the general public some useful information about job opportunities in Germany.

“Both the students and lecturers from the Humanities Faculty will be given the information regarding the job opportunities from those who work in Germany,” Sihotang explained.

Goethe-Institut is a German cultural institute active in many countries. Many events have been organized as a collaboration between the Humanities Faculty and Goethe-Institut.

Dr. Raden Arief Nugroho S.S., M.Hum, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, was grateful to Goethe Institut Indonesien for trusting Udinus as the test venue.
