Assalamu’alaikum wr.wb,

Welcome to the Japanese Literature Study Program at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus). In accordance with the decree issued by the Directorate of Higher Education (DIKTI) No. 4851/D/T/2004, our Japanese Literature Study Program was founded on June 10th, 2004. We had received accreditation twice, achieving a ‘B’ grade in 2006 and 2011 as per National Decree, which was recognized by the National Accreditation Body for Higher Education (BAN-PT) No. 024/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-XV/S/I/2011) and was valid until 2017. Our primary goal is to prepare our students for success in the professional world and to contribute to the broader community's knowledge. Hence, in order to achieve that, we continually evaluate and update all aspects of our teaching and learning systems, including our curriculum, teaching methods, and facilities, to stay current with era developments. We are also actively engaging in various collaborations with external partners, both domestically and internationally, which reflects our commitment in delivering a positive impact on our students and alumni. Establishing a variety of collaborations such as student exchange programs, cultural exchanges, and the involvement of experts from various fields.

We place a strong emphasis on our students regarding the teaching and learning system (Student-Centered Learning) as a fundamental part of conducting college activities. Besides that, we cultivate a conducive academic environment to facilitate maximum learning outcomes. Moreover, we also maintain a close relationship with student parents through regular on-campus meetings and involve our graduates in program events. This synergy emerges in academic harmony and supports the students' achievements. The successes of our students, which are equal to those from other institutions, serve as tangible proof of our commitment to excellence. Hopefully, God will give us the power to continuously strive to be the best.

Becoming an excellent study program in the Japanese field with information and technology-based including communication and entrepreneurship in Asia by the year 2025

Mission

1. Organizing high-quality education that is focused on the study of Japan particularly in the field of language, literature, and culture based on information technology and communication, as well as entrepreneur.

 2.    Initiating research that can enrich science and apply it to Japanese study simultaneously

 3.    Organizing community service in the relevant field to the study of Japanese in order to develop the public's foreign language skills especially Japanese language.

4. Forming a collaboration with both public and private institutions in national and international level.
