Having welcomed new students, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) Kediri held a Talent Show featuring performances from students and faculty members. For the 2022/2023 academic year, Udinus Kediri has currently inaugurated 157 students.
The event, holding the theme ‘Growing in Greatness,’ was participated hundreds of students and numerous faculty members at Udinus Kediri. Those students and faculty members would perform at the campus courtyard located at Penanggungan I St. No. 41a, Bandar Lor, Kota Sub-district, Kediri, East Java. On that occasion, several prominent figures were also present to welcome the freshmen. Those figures were Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., M.Kom., (the Vice Chancellor IV of Research and Partnership Affairs at Udinus), Dr. Drs. Abdul Syukur, M.M., (the Dean of the Computer Science Faculty at Udinus), the Mayor of Kediri, and Chevy Ning Suyudi, ST., MT., (the General Administration Assistant of Kediri Government).
Dr. Drs. Abdul Syukur, M.M., (the Dean of the Computer Science Faculty) appreciated the trust given by the public to Udinus Kediri. According to him, this student inauguration served as a conclusion to the whole student orientation process, namely, Dinus Inside. The 2022 Dinus Inside was held simultaneously both at Udinus Kediri and Udinus Semarang. In addition, the theme implied that Udinus Kediri would keep developing to be a part of improving the education quality in Kediri.
“I hereby welcome all of you to join us here at Udinus Kediri. Hopefully, all of you freshmen will be able to utilize your studies to their maximum capacity, as well as further improve both your academic and non-academic skills,” she uttered.
Various performances, including contemporary dances, acoustic performances, band performances, and magic shows, were also featured at the inauguration. Those performance arts would later be by students of Udinus Kediri.
The inauguration concluded with a social service to various underprivileged regions in Kediri. The social service aids were directly handed by Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., M.Kom., (the Vice Chancellor IV of Research and Partnership Affairs).
The Dinus Inside serves as an inauguration of freshmen, as well as an orientation for these new students about the campus life at Udinus. The event is mandatory for all students. All of those new students were directly inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., (the Chancellor of Udinus) at the 2022 Dinus Inside.
