HAVING LEARNED THE BRANDING KNOWLEDGE AT UDINUS, EMMA TRIUMPHANTLY ESTABLISHED HER E-COMMERCE START-UP BUSINESS

Having obtained entrepreneurship knowledge in her university days, Mamba’ul Ulum, an alumna of the Visual Communication Design Study Program at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) successfully established her very own e-commerce start-up business.
 
Mamba’ul Ulum, also known as Emma, was a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Haripanen.id start-up since 2020. The CV Haripanen start-up offered various kinds of fresh and pesticide-free groceries delivered dirctly from the farmers to consumers. She also utilized the Internet by creating the haripanen.id website allowing it to be accessed anywhere and anytime.
 
“Our website is considered user-friendly and easy to access. Various features such as fruits, vegetables, and package selection could be accessed in the home menu,” she explained.
 
At her start-up, Emma committed to keeping every product fresh. Emma explained that every vegetable would be harvested in the morning and would be delivered later that afternoon. Her start-up, nominated at the 2021 Top 20 Start-Up in Central Java by Hetero Space, utilized paper box-based packaging in an attempt to reduce plastic waste and encourage the public to be more eco-friendly. 
 
“As the third party, we usually get millions in turnover per shipment of vegetable products for the consumers in Semarang and Jogjakarta. ‘Haripanen’ also offers the Business-to-Business system both to the resellers and convenience stores,” Emma, born in January of 1991 in Temanggung, said.   
 
Additionally, Emma also developed another start-up named ‘EZFit’. She established ‘EZFit’ in May of 2021 and it is currently in its developing stage. ‘EZFit’ could at least gain hundreds of million rupiahs in monthly turnover. ‘EZFit’ itself is a diet catering service for people in Semarang.
 
Emma, who graduated in 2017, claimed that entrepreneurship and branding courses were her favorite subjects during her study. To this day, she is still implementing those two courses, particularly in developing start-up businesses, according to her, branding and digital marketing are two inseparable things. Even during her college days, Emma had already started a business called ‘Prismawedding.’ Through that business, she had triumphantly exported premium wedding customizable invitation cards to many different countries.
 
“Ever since I was a college student, I have indeed had a passion for start-up businesses. Once I possess the passion, pursuing it is a must. Additionally, Udinus also provided the young entrepreneurs with such a pleasant atmosphere,” concluded the owner of @emma.mamba Instagram account.
 
Udinus is a superior-accredited university that combines technology with entrepreneurship. Students from every study program will be given entrepreneurial knowledge.
