The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is among many activities conducted by students. In an attempt to enhance students’ ability to innovate, the Humanities Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) host a coaching session for PKM on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023.
The coaching session participated by 150 Humanities Faculty students, was held offline on the third floor of the G building. It featured speakers from the Student Affairs Bureau, namely, Dr, Rindra Yusianto, S.Kom., M.T. (the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau) and Valentina Widya Suryaningtyas, S.S., M.Hum. (the Head of the Talent and Interest Division at the Student Affairs Bureau). The session mainly discussed proposals for the Student Creativity Program (PKM) concerning the field of humanities and linguistics.
Dr. Raden Arief Nugroho, S.S., M.Hum., the Dean of the Humanities Faculty, explained that this coaching session was expected to expand students’ insight regarding proposal creation for PKM. Furthermore, he also hoped for students to gather many creative ideas, particularly concerning their fields of expertise. Through these creative ideas, students are also expected to make it to the 2023 National Student Scientific Week.
“The proposals submitted by students are not only assessed by its quality, but also quality. Thus, the proposals can hit the target and inflict positive impacts in the future,” he hoped.
In addition to students, several members of the Humanities Faculty were also present, serving as instructors. The coaching session also aimed to give insight to faculty members regarding the Student Creativity Program (PKM). Thus, they could guide students with their proposals both in terms of administration and content.
Selaku bidang kemahasiswaan, Dr. Rindra Yusianto, S.Kom., M.T., berupaya mendukung mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan kreativitasnya di bidang akademik maupun non-akademik. Ia pun juga membagikan tips trik dalam pembuatan proposal PKM yang berkualitas yang mampu lolos dan didanai. Menurutnya, PKM menjadi salah satu program yang dapat meningkatkan mutu kualitas mahasiswa dan menebar manfaat untuk masyarakat luas.
