The Admission Bureau at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro tied collaboration with Telekomunikasi Selular Ltd to host a tryout for the computer-based test for high school students.
The test was held in the auditorium located on the third floor of the E building, with approximately 623 high school students being the participants. Those students conducted the test within the time provided by the committee. Additionally, the test consisted of two different sessions on the same day.
The Head of the Admission Bureau at Udinus, Andi Hallang Lewa, SS, MM., stated that the try-out was the result of a partnership tied by the Admission Bureau with Telekomunikasi Selular Ltd. In addition, he also explained that the test was held as a form of commitment to actively contributing to the field of education, particularly in preparing students to face the upcoming computer-based final test.
“We have seen that the students were enthusiastic. Hopefully, this try-out could serve as a form of assistance in preparing for their final test,” he explained.
Furthermore, students could get a lower price for the try-out if they had enrolled at Udinus. The students could merely register manually on the first floor of the G building by showing their ID card and test ID. Currently, the campus has been accredited as ‘Superior,’ with many departments on it also receiving the ‘Superior’ accreditation.
“The special price will last until May 17th. For additional information, Udinus itself is a university specialized in the field of IT and entrepreneurship, offering 23 different programs for students to choose from,” he explained.
Alicia, a student from a high school known as ‘SMA Kolese Loyola,’ revealed that she participated in the try-out to prepare herself for the upcoming computer-based test and give herself insight regarding the questions in the test.
“Thankfully, I could answer all the questions, and I am also enthusiastic about participating in this try-out. We hope this try-out could be hosted more often,” she concluded. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Foto: Humas Udinus)
